Vodafone cuts price of fibre broadband deal

Broadband provider Vodafone has made its fastest fibre broadband deals even more affordable with the announcement of a price cut to two of its most popular deals.

The firm has dropped the cost of its Superfast 1 and Superfast 2 offerings by £1 a month, which helps make it one of the UK's most affordable fibre broadband providers - particularly if customers already have a mobile phone contract with the company.

Its Superfast 1 deal offers average download speeds of 35Mbps and will now cost just £20 a month for Vodafone mobile users, with non-customers able to secure the deal for £21 a month.

Meanwhile, the Superfast 2 package features average download speeds of 63Mbps and will cost Vodafone mobile users £25 a month, or £26 a month for non-mobile customers.

There are no setup fees to pay and both deals come with an 18-month contract and include unlimited downloads, a free wireless router, line rental and six months of free F-Secure SAFE antivirus software.

They also come with Vodafone's Ultimate Broadband Guarantee, which offers users a 15 per cent discount on their bill until any problems are fixed if download speeds fail to achieve minimum sync speeds, which are 25Mbps for Superfast 1 users or 55Mbps for Superfast 2 customers.
