Post Office tweaks broadband and calls packages

The Post Office is introducing a call plan with its broadband offering that will give new customers three months of its Anytime Plus UK calls package for free.

This means users can enjoy unlimited calls to UK landlines, as well as 1,000 minutes of calls to mobiles, 1,000 minutes to 0870 or 0845 numbers, and 1,000 to 15 countries. reports the offer is likely to be in place until January 13th 2019, after which it will cost customer £10 per month on top of their broadband package.

However, the Post Office is removing its free unlimited UK weekend phone calls plan, meaning anyone who wants free weekend calls will have to pay £2 per month.

The ISP currently offers three tiers of broadband packages, an 11Mbps unlimited ADSL connection and two fibre options at 36Mbps and 63Mbps, with introductory prices ranging from £15.90 to £32 per month. The ADSL package is available on a 12-month contract, while the fibre options require an 18-month commitment.
