Giffgaff Boost 4G Mobile Broadband Data Caps on Goodybags

Mobile operator giffgaff, which is based off O2 UK's Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) platform, has increased the data allowances across their various 4G plans by between +250MB (MegaBytes) and +3GB (GigaBytes), depending upon which option you take.

The changes seem to vary, so the cheaper plans get less (e.g. the £7.50 plan now includes 1GB of data, up from 750MB before) and the bigger plans get a lot more (e.g. the £18 plan benefits from 50% extra data for a total of 9GB). Giffgaff have also increased the allowance on their £20 "Always On" goodybag – before speed restrictions apply – by +3GB to total 9GB (i.e. if you use more than 9GB then your Mobile Broadband speed drops to just 384Kbps from 8am to Midnight).

NOTE: There is no change on the operator's £5 plan.
